A Haven for Tigers and Biodiversity
Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, India, is a relatively small yet significant wildlife reserve. Established on April 30, 1997, it spans an area of approximately 148.63 square kilometers.
Named after the nearby ‘Goddess Tipai’ shrine in Tipeshwar village, the sanctuary has quickly gained recognition as a vital conservation area in central India, particularly known for its thriving tiger population.
